On Wednesday 12 March, as part of the Assemblée des Français de l'étranger week, I had the pleasure of taking part in the Trophées des Français de l'étranger ceremony, a not-to-be-missed event organised by lepetitjournal.com.
Since 2013, these awards have been highlighting the exceptional careers and inspiring projects of our expatriate compatriots around the world.
The 2025 edition particularly honoured Northern Europe, with five French nationals from our constituency selected in various categories. It's a source of pride to see so many remarkable initiatives led by talented people from our community!

Among them, Xavier Louis was rewarded for his Five Lives project, which promotes memory and brain health. Other finalists excelled in their respective fields :
- Florence Chabert d'Hières, founder of Expat Village and co-founder of Make My Year, selected in the Education category.
- Laurence Levy, founder of MeditSimple, singled out for her commitment to Social Impact.
- Florence Alix-Gravellier, Vice-President of the French Tennis Federation, recognised for her influence in the world of sport.
- Marine Tanguy, founder of MTArt Agency, also nominated in the Influence category.

As a member of the jury this year, I was able to gauge the richness and diversity of the career paths that shape France's international influence. These awards are a great opportunity to recognise those who, through their commitment and creativity, keep the French spirit alive beyond our borders.
Congratulations to the winners and finalists for their talent and daring. Thank you to the organisers of this event which, year after year, highlights the successes of our compatriots around the world.
