I had the pleasure of taking part in the FLAM Umbrella Day organised in London, which brought together many FLAM associations from all over the UK.
Many thanks to Sophie Gavrois-Karnavos, President of the FLAM Umbrella, for her commitment and for organising this wonderful day of meetings and exchanges around an essential mission : to pass on the French language to the youngest children, wherever they grow up. FLAM associations play a central role in the life of our community abroad. Thanks to the energy of volunteer parents and the passion of the educational teams, hundreds of children can learn and practise French in a warm, appropriate environment, often outside the traditional school system.
I will remain fully committed to working alongside them to ensure that this remarkable work in the service of the cultural and linguistic link between France and its children around the world is recognised and supported.
