I had the honor of welcoming to the National Assembly the Franco-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce for their 106th General Assembly, alongside my colleague Pascal Lecamp, president of the France–Norway friendship group.
This exchange, in the presence of His Excellency Niels Engelschiøn, Ambassador of Norway to France, highlighted the richness of our economic and industrial relations—on the eve of a historic visit by the President of the Republic to Norway, the first of a French head of state for more than 40 years.
In a context of strong reengagement of France towards Scandinavia and the Arctic, this moment was an opportunity to highlight the importance of strengthening the bridges between our two countries in the fields of innovation, energy transition and industrial sovereignty.
I would like to congratulate NAVAL GROUP and the Norwegian university NTNU for signing a strategic memorandum of understanding, a symbol of the dynamism of our bilateral cooperation.
