Sweden - Day 1 : Stockholm, on the benches of high school, around a coffee table

On the first day of my visit to Sweden, I travelled to Stockholm, where I had the pleasure of meeting many French people.

At a warm lunch, at the invitation of our new ambassador, Thierry Carlier, I had the opportunity to talk with many compatriots involved in local life: elected representatives, heads of associations and players in the business world. These men and women are the pillars of our community abroad, and I would like to thank them for their daily commitment.

I then visited the Lycée Français Saint Louis, an outstanding school that promotes our language and culture to more than 700 students.

I was able to talk to the teaching staff about the challenges facing French education abroad, discover the renovated facilities and, above all, say hello to Madame Minato's class of 6ème, who have been selected to take part in the final of the Children's Parliament. Well done to them!

Finally, many of you took part in the citizen fika organised in Stockholm. This Swedish-style exchange gave us an opportunity to look back at current issues, talk about parliamentary work and bring democratic debate to life together. Thank you all for coming, for your questions and your ideas!

Tack to you all!
