I had the honour of accompanying the President of the National Assembly, Yaël Braun-Pivet, during her visit to London for a day dedicated to parliamentary diplomacy and the strong bond that unites our two countries.
At Westminster, we were received by the Speaker of the House of Commons, Sir Lindsay Hoyle, for a rich exchange on relations between our parliaments. I also had the privilege of attending, in the gallery, the 'Prime Minister’s Questions', an emblematic moment of British political life, which testifies to the dynamism of their democracy.

At the French Dispensary, we met with teams committed to serving the most vulnerable, especially women victims of violence. Their daily work is essential and deserves to be praised.

We then brought together the representatives of the French community from the United Kingdom for a convivial and useful round table. This time of exchange showed once again the vitality, diversity and attachment of our compatriots to France, despite the distance.

Finally, I would like to warmly thank the activists of Renaissance UK who were present at the end of the day to share this collective moment with energy and commitment.
This day has demonstrated: our ties with the United Kingdom remain strong and alive, driven by friendship between peoples, institutional exchanges and the daily commitment of our communities.
