Review of my trip to Norway : Grunnlovsdagen

As in Norway, good things come by three, the last day of my trip was dedicated to the famous Grunnlovsdagen ! There are days that mark, and May 17 is one of them.

I was lucky enough to experience Norway’s national holiday from the inside, closer to the people of Oslo and our French community. Under a beautiful sun, I joined the students, teachers and families of the French high school René Cassin for the great traditional parade through the city.

It was an honour to see our school stand out in this iconic moment of Norwegian culture. The morning was extended at the high school around a friendly kermesse, the opportunity to exchange with many French of Oslo and to share this moment of celebration in a warm atmosphere.

A huge thank you to the whole team of the school, to the parents, and of course to the students for their welcome and their energy. This bond between our two countries is also built in these joyful and collective moments.

Gratulerer med dagen !
